Slappy's Creole Cuisine is dedicated to serving up the best, most authentic Cajun dishes in the Houston area. Slappy's owner, Dana Parks, grew up in a Cajun kitchen at the north gates of LSU where her parents ran an authentic Cajun restaurant called "The Gumbo Place." After the passing of her father last year, she became inspired to start her own Cajun restaurant on wheels!

Owners Kevin and Joey set out to create an experience that offered great drinks from a knowledgeable staff, a variety of cuisine from the best food trucks and inviting atmosphere for a wide range of ages and interests. The open-air bar is great for large groups and family-friendly, featuring yard games and community seating under the pavilion.
