The seeds of Deacon Baldy’s began to form at a dinner among friends around 2014. A big group of us all met at a local Mexican restaurant and realized that after having kids, our group was too large to take anyone out anymore. We all said how great it would be if we had a place of our own we could take our growing group of friends. The next year, the idea was pitched of putting some food trucks in front of an existing business on the property. Then the topics of drinks, a space, and the community were discussed, and that dinner was when it was all said and done, and the bones of this place were put to paper. A place with great drinks, a variety of incredible food, and enough space for even our huge group. 

Deacon Baldy’s is built in the memory of Deacon Mike Mims (aka Deacon Baldy). He was a man who absolutely adored hosting people and his sense hospitality was as larage as he was. We honor his memory by welcoming you the same way he would, with food and a smile.
